Ms. Lisa Guerrero, an Autistic and Learning Support teacher for the sixth, seventh and eighth grades, is this week’s Teacher of the Week. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Secondary Education from Villanova University and her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Education from Siena College. Before coming to VFMS five years ago, Ms. Guerrero taught at Conestoga High School. Her family consists of one sister, who lives in France.
In an interview with the PTO, Mr. Guerrero shared the following information:
Pets – None.
Hobbies now – Loves working out, especially Lithe Method and hot yoga classes. She also enjoys going to concerts and spending time at the shore.
Hobbies, sports and interests when you were in middle school – Dance, cheerleading and playing the flute.
Interesting/little known facts or talents – Ms. Guerrero and Mrs. Draves do a hot yoga class together every week.
Advice for parents of middle school children – Encourage your kids to become independent and responsible young adults.
