A maker space is a physical location where students can meet to help explore different resources and complete hands on tasks using a wide variety of technologies. Valley Forge Middle School is starting to develop a Makerspace available during activity for 7th and 8th grade students. The space allows students to hone their skills to develop, learn, and build on a completely blank canvas, which allows the students to go over and beyond the normal thinking in the classroom, using Engineering and problem solving strategies. For more information, please contact Trevor Viviani atvivianit@tesd.net. VFMS PTO is seeking ways to support this activity.
